The rivalry between Krum High School and Ponder High School has a long a storied history.  On this page you will find stats based on the last few years (2008-Present).  

Ponder is just coming off a State Tournament where they had an impressive showing.  The Lions graduate almost everything and have just hired a new coach.  Ryan Russell is coming from Bridgeport where he led the Bulls to an 18-49 overall record, and went 3-17 in District 8-4A play.  Ty Tabor and the Krum Bobcats are also coming off a great season making it to the regional tournament.
